Business Saturday Breakfasts
What Happens at Breakfast
8:30–9:00 AM — Coffee + Networking
Coffee is ready at 8:30. Name tags with “I Offer / I Need” written on them. Casual networking and relationship building before the program. Nobody stands alone — you’ll be introduced to someone.
9:00–9:05 AM — Opening Prayer & Scripture
A brief prayer and a verse tied to the day’s theme. Rooted in Colossians 3:23 — whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.
9:05–9:20 AM — Member Spotlight
One business owner shares their story: what they do, how faith shapes their business, one Kingdom principle they’ve applied. Real, not rehearsed.
9:20–9:35 AM — Table Discussion
Structured question tied to the spotlight or a Kingdom business theme. Tables of 4–6. Everyone participates. No spectators.
9:35–9:55 AM — Open Networking
“I Offer / I Need” cards on each table. Deliberate introductions. This is where referrals happen. A plumber finds a Christian bookkeeper. A young man meets a contractor who’s hiring.
9:55–10:00 AM — Closing + Announcements
Upcoming events, new directory members, prayer requests. Close with group prayer.
10:00 AM+ — Informal Hangout
Nobody’s kicked out. Conversations continue. Experienced members stay for “Office Hours” — 1-on-1 time with anyone who has questions.

Why This Business Breakfast in Brighton, MI Is Different
Looking for a business breakfast in Brighton, MI where conversations go deeper than an elevator pitch? At the Gate is Kingdom Gate Chamber’s regular gathering for faith-driven professionals across Livingston County. We meet regularly at CBC Brighton — coffee at 8:30, program at 9:00, and genuine community all morning.
Unlike generic networking events, every At the Gate breakfast is built around a Kingdom business principle. You’ll hear a real member story, engage in structured table discussion, and leave with at least one meaningful new connection — and often a referral. Brighton area business owners from every industry attend: contractors, accountants, healthcare providers, real estate professionals, consultants, and more.
We believe that when Christian business owners build real relationships in their own community, everybody wins — clients, families, and Livingston County itself. That’s the vision behind every breakfast we host.
